Deeks + cheering up Kensi

if Jack’s personality is like Deeks’ or if he has the scruffy sort of look like Deeks I will be really annoyed because the writers will basically be saying AH YES LOOK THIS WAS WHO SHE WAS ENGAGED TOO LOOK SHE HAS A TYPE LOOOOOOOOOK THIS IS WHY SHE LIKES DEEKS.

It would compromise my ability to ship them (and they’re my otp so i really don’t want that) if it’s inserted into my brain that her original like for Deeks was because he reminded her of Jack, and how their entire friendship and relationship is built on how he personally reminded her of the man that left her. 

And Deeks would notice it too, if Jack was like him, the team would notice it - they would assume that her initial like for Deeks would be because he’s like Jack, and she could lose Deeks because of this and just it would make him so sad because it would plant that seed of doubt like ‘Did she ever love me, or was it all just because I’m like him and she wanted him back?’

SB is a trolly little fuck and I don’t usually listen to what he says because he’s a trolly little fuck, but i’m only going into this because I won’t be able to handle it if he’s like Deeks. At all.

Whenever I’m reading fanfic and I see someone write Deeks when they actually mean Deeks’ i just close the tab and walk away because no stop
